Mrs. Anderston had a very interesting math Christmas project this year. Students were pretending to spend $1000 on 5 people. They have to cut out ads for the presents they want to buy for their 5 people. Next comes the tax. Put it all together for a Christmas booklet. Next I asked some kids " Is the project fun?" Kayla said the project is fun because you get to pick what your going to buy.She bought a computer for her grandmother. Haley said it's fun because she likes how we get to buy things for certain people and because we get to look at things. She bought stuff for her family. Logan said it's fun because you get to pick what you are going to buy for people. He bought a chainsaw and knife for his dad and two necklaces and a bracelet for his mom. Caitlyn said it's fun because it's a learning experience, and you get to feel what its like to buy stuff for people.She bought electronics, clothes, toys, and etc. for her sister, her mom, her dad, and her two twin cousins. Let me just say I said something different! I said, "It's super fun! I love how you can cut out ads and add everything up! I bought Lalaloopsy sister dolls! I rest my case."
